With formalised process modelling in accordance with the standardised Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN), we move on to executable code for process flows. The task may consist of the following stages: feasibility study/introduction (establishing notation, tools, etc.), modelling together with operations and IT, simulation and test run, publication, executable implementation (any changes which take place during development are converted back to BPMN), and deployment and monitoring (defining KPIs, etc.) in BAM (business activity monitoring).
