Pre-study

The aim of the pre-study is to create an understanding of the customer’s goals and needs, and to determine the scope of the integration project. The pre-study establishes the project definition, timetable, development guidelines and conceptual integration architecture.

Project management

Ferrologic believes that agile methods, with their short iterations and their good balance of stability and flexibility, are ideal for integration work, and can represent an excellent complement to waterfall methods.

Specification phase

During the specification phase of the integration project, integration processes can be divided up into a logical design and a detailed design. The logical design focuses on the business process interaction between systems or business partners. The detailed design describes how integration is achieved with the various components.

Development and testing phase

During the development and testing phase, components are built, unit tested and integrated. Development is carried out in accordance with established guidelines. Integration testing is carried out in successive iterations with set test scenarios.

Go-live

Go-live involves starting communication through the solution. After initial monitoring, the process of transferring responsibility for operation and support from the development group to operational and support personnel begins.
