Ferrologic takes its operational environmental responsibility seriously. Without a society that is sustainable in the long-term we would be unable to carry out our operations, so obviously we should contribute towards this. In this respect, demands are placed on us both internally, by employees and management, and externally, by our partners.

Within the context of our core business, Ferrologic’s environmental work should therefore contribute towards a society that is sustainable in the long term, as well as sustained profitability and a positive brand. We have consequently adopted a environmental policy that will form the basis for our environmental work.

Within our operations, we shall:

• carry out and develop our consulting services so that relevant environmental aspects within the commission are always addressed in a serious and competent manner
• encourage our employees to act in an environmentally responsible manner; by providing information on an ongoing basis, we will maintain a high level of knowledge and interest so that employee commitment is retained
• reduce the environmental impact of our transportation – both when travelling for business purposes and when delivering goods – by choosing the best means of transport from an environmental perspective and through the increased use of new technology
• reduce the environmental impact of our offices by
  • reducing the use of energy and materials,
  • imposing appropriate environmental requirements when purchasing goods and services, and
  • dealing with our waste in the best possible way
• actively obtain and disseminate knowledge within the field of environmental work, both externally and internally
• comply with applicable legislation and regulations as a minimum requirement
